GOAL: Laser, I420, 29er, and Nacra 15 speed/boat-handling clinic.
COACHES: Olympic Development Director Leandro Spina will be coaching. We will divide teams into training groups based on their skill/experience level and have at least two top-level coaches per class.
SAILOR SKILL LEVEL: If you are unsure if this clinic is right for you or if you need help finding a teammate in the double-handed classes, please contact JJ Fetter (jj.fetter@gmail.com).
ENTRY FEE: $125/sailor until January 15th (SDYC member charge discount of $25). Late entry fee of $175/sailor. Sailors in the double-handed boats must sign up as a team and both sailors must register.
CHARTER BOATS: Limited 29er loaner/charter boats are available, please contact jj.fetter@gmail.com. I420 charters are available from John@sdyc.org and from info@usi420.org. Laser charters available from charters@vela-la.com.
SCHEDULE:
Saturday: 10AM – 5:30PM Clinic and debrief, pizza dinner included
Sunday: 10AM – 4PM Clinic and debrief, after sailing snacks included
MEALS: Sailors should bring their own lunch, on-the-water snacks, and water.
VENUE: We will be sailing from SDYC out to the ocean off Point Loma.
GEAR: Be prepared to be on the water sailing for 4 to 5 hours each day. Bring appropriate gear, dry bags with extra gear, and plenty of quick, healthy snacks to keep you going!
