Update: Per the Sailing Instruction Amendment, for Sunday, February 4th, the racing area will be SOUTH BAY approximately 2.3 nm bearing 140 degrees mag. from center span (Pier 18) of the Coronado Bridge.
The racing area will be in the Coronado Roads approximately 2.0 nm bearing 125 degrees mag. from Zuniga Jetty Light Z.
In the event the Roads are not safe because of a weather and/or sea-state issue, the racing area may be amended via SI 3.1 to SOUTH BAY approximately 2.3 nm bearing 140 degrees mag. from center span (Pier 18) of the Coronado Bridge.
In accordance with SI 3.1 “Any change to these sailing instructions (SI) will be posted not later than 0915 on the day of the first race to which such changes apply. At the same time, Flag L, accompanied by a sound signal, will be displayed.”
The race committee will be monitoring VHF 69 for concerned traffic starting 0900.
