Shala Youngerman at the 2025 Mayors Cup

We ventured to Long Beach to match race the Catalina 37s. Our team consisted of Erika Barth, Beth Rodic nee Winton, Samantha Treadwell, Tracy Nackel, Sarah Scoffone, Rebecca Harteck and myself. My team was awesome, positive and super competitive! We even got some extensive time in the LBYC sauna… The OA did a great job organizing and being flexible before and during the event. Since one team backed out last minute they decided to do a triple round robin. The weather both days was pretty typical fall in Long Beach, we won all of our matches in the first RR, lost one in the second and then two in the third… not really the direction we wanted to go but we finished tied for the Mayors Cup! Thank you to my team and SDYC for the support!
