We just came home from Miami, after participating in both a pre-event clinic followed by the Open Orange Bowl Regatta in the 29er Class. The Open Orange Bowl event also included Nacra 15s, Snipes, and i420s on our racecourse, run by Coconut Grove Sailing Club.

The title came down to the final race, with 4 teams still in reach of the National Champion title. In the end, Logan Mraz and Ronan Curnyn (USA 8) showed a great jump in boat speed to edge out the competition, taking a bullet in the final race to secure the Championship.

We (Kevin Cason/skipper and and Holland Vierling/crew) recently attended our 3rd US Sailing Youth Championship, this year located in Bristol, Rhode Island. This was a super fun regatta for us. So cool to see our growth as a team over the past 3 Youth Championship races. I(Holland) showed up sleepy after a long redeye flight, and immediately ran into the US Sailing Coaches -Phil and Rosie.
