We all know where Balboa Park is located, all 1,200 acres of beautiful mid-city space.  In addition to the 17 museums and a zoo, there are gardens! You will learn about these many gardens. Varieties include lush gardens, floral gardens, primitive gardens, lily ponds, a reflecting pool and many more types of gardens, all within the largest urban park within the United States. Join the group for lunch and listen to Magen Shaw, horticulturist, on Wednesday, April 10th at 11:30-1:00. Find our what it must be like to create and maintain our beautiful park.
