DIESEL ENGINES – TIPS TO GET YOU HOME

Ceasar Salas, from TRLMI will get you thinking about the critical lifeblood of your boat.  Yes, this is for Sailboats too since they start and end their boating using their engines to get in and out of slips.  Ceasar will cover basic troubleshooting of your Marine Diesel Engine and explain some things you can do if your diesel engine overheats or will not start while out at sea.

HISTORY: Training Resources Limited was founded in 1998 by Capt. Ray Addicott (USN Ret) and LCDR Ray Gillip (USN Ret) to provide maritime training for civilian and military mariners.  In 2017, the company moved to a new 18,000 square foot training facility.  In 2018, Training Resources acquired Maritime Institute and merged the organizations together.

TODAY, Training Resources Limited Maritime Institute (“TRLMI”) offers over 80 U.S. Coast Guard approved courses in San Diego and Alameda and continues to provide exportable training throughout California and select East Coast locations.  The instructors each have decades of experience on the water in military and/or civilian mariner roles, and thoroughly enjoy passing along their knowledge to others.
