Water Cruisers – CYC dock slip assignments are not available, obtain a Port of San Diego A-5 Anchoring Permit for anchorage in Glorietta Bay for the weekend via www.portofsandiego.org. Private marina slip assignments can be found by contacting Mona Anderson at (619) 435-5203 or email: randerson@californiayachtmarina.com on a first come, first serve basis.
Land Cruisers – Make hotel reservations by calling (800) 289-9383 to reside at the Glorietta Bay Inn or reserve at any of the other splendid hoteliers on beautiful Coronado Island.
Radio Channel 78 will be monitored.
Friday:
14:30 – 16:00 Arrival
17:00 Cocktails and Dinner at Blue Water Boathouse 1701 Strand Way (619) 435-0155. Dinghy parking is available at the Seaforth Marina (ramp to Boathouse) or use the City Dock (1/4 mile walk along promenade). Vehicle parking is available at the Boathouse or Community Center.
Note: Dinghy, Sailboat and Paddleboard rental is available at Seaforth Marina (888) 834-2628.
Saturday:
10:45-12:30 (Walk starts at 11:00) Coronado Historical Walking Tour – park dinghy at Guest Dinghy parking at CYC (check in with June at the front desk before leaving), meet at Glorietta Bay Inn (1630 Glorietta Blvd), bring $15 cash for each person attending, pay directly to the Tour Guide. Wear comfortable shoes. Lunch on your own.
15:00 – 16:30 Couples Domino Invitational Tournament on individual boats (TBD) bring your domino / cribbage board, if you have one. SDYC Rules, board (will have some extras), and dominoes (not the pizza) will be provided. The highly renowned Couple or Pairs Winning Prize will be provided! Keep track of overall points.
Saturday Night:
Cocktails and Dinner “On Your Own” suggested options are the Hotel Del 1500 OCEAN Restaurant for reservations- call (619) 522-8490 or Maretalia Ristorante (same location as Vigilucci’s) 1300 Orange Ave. call (619) 522-0946. Make your reservations ASAP.
Sunday:
08:30 – 10:00 Starbucks Coffee and Pastries delivered to each boat.
13:00 Approximate Departure time for the long journey back to SDYC.
