The Tennis Fleet has a ball machine available in the shed outside the Court #1 gate.

Playmate Ball Machine

You need to be a current member of the Tennis Fleet to use the Playmate Ball Machine.  Show your card to the security guard who will check your name against the roster and will give you a key to the shed in exchange for your member card.  If you are not sure how to use the machine, any fleet officer will be happy to show you or answer any questions you may have. 

The ball machine should be placed a few feet in from the baseline.  Adjust the settings to your liking and use the remote control to suspend firing.  When finished, fill hopper with balls, coil the extension cord and place cord on top of hopper and return to the shed.  Please be gentle!  The machine is used by many people and we want it to last a long time. 

Please refrain from using the machine when the ground is wet.  Remember to leave the remote control.   The balls are replaced on a periodic basis but any contributions are gladly accepted.
