San Diego Area Yacht Clubs’ Junior Activities Committee is proud to host the 2010 Junior Sabot Championship Regatta. Sailing for the event will be in Mission Bay at the Mission Bay Yacht Club. Online at www.sdyc.org/sabot you will find a Notice of Race (NOR), Schedule of Events, Entry Form, Medical Release Form, and Clothing Order Forms. Please read this information carefully and fill out the forms completely.

Read the Notice of Race and pay attention to all the details. Complete the online registration by July 25th, 2010 to avoid a late fee. Entries and fees received after August 4th, 2010 will NOT be accepted.

Boat Measurement and Weigh–In
All Sabots must have a valid measurement certificate (or recent Measurement Form on file with the INSA Secretary) by Sunday July 25th. In addition, all Sabots must participate in Regatta Measurement and Weigh-In. Valid forms will be provided only by sanctioned fleet measurers at scheduled measurement sessions. If a boat has never been measured before, please plan on obtaining a Registration Measurement by contacting the INSA Chief Measurer.

Regatta Measurement and Weigh-In will happen at the following dates and locations:

3. Monday, August 9th
0800-0930 (sail measurement and re-measurement only)
Mission Bay Yacht Club

Registration/ Check-in
Registration/ Check in will be at Mission Bay Yacht Club. Check in for competitors will be on Sunday, August 8th from 0900- 1600 and Monday, August 9th from 0800- 1600 (closes at 0930 for non-pre-qualified skippers.)  Additional Check in for pre-qualified sailors will be on Tuesday, August 10th from 0800-0930.

Boat Storage
Boats and trailers can be stored at your own risk only in designated areas. We recommend that you bring your own dollies.

Parking
Parking will be limited. Boat trailers must be parked in designated areas.

Trash
Please keep Mission Bay Yacht Club and the surrounding areas clean. Please find a trashcan for all rubbish.

Camping
No camping at MBYC. The clubhouse and yard will be closed / locked 30 minutes after activities have finished.

Door Prize Raffles
Door prize raffles will be held after racing on Thursday, following the Annual General Meeting.  2010 INSA Junior Members are eligible to win door prizes but must be present to win.
