San Diego Area Yacht Clubs’ Junior Activities Committee is proud to host the 2008 Junior Sabot Championship Regatta. Sailing for the event will be in Mission Bay at the Mission Bay Yacht Club.

All regatta documents and forms can be found on this website. Please read this information carefully and fill out the forms completely.

Read the Notice of Race and pay attention to all the details. Complete the online registration by July 25th, 2008 to avoid a late fee. Entries and fees received after August 1st, 2008 will NOT be accepted.

Lunch orders can be refunded $25 for sailors who do not qualify to sail in the Flight Selection or Championship Series. Meal refund requests must be made in writing and turned into the registration desk or to the MBYC front desk by 12 noon on August 5th. There will be no refunds for Monday’s meals.

Boat Measurement and Weigh–In
All Sabots must have a valid measurement certificate (or recent Measurement Form on file with the INSA Secretary) by Friday, July 25th. In addition, all Sabots must participate in Regatta Measurement and Weigh-In. Please read and bring the Boat and Sail Measurement Check List. (Note: Hull and sail number shall match.)

Regatta Measurement and Weigh-In will happen at the following dates and locations:

Registration/ Check-in
Registration/ Check-in will be at Mission Bay Yacht Club. Check-in for competitors will be on Sunday, August 3rd from 0900-1600 and Monday, August 4th from 0800-1600 (closes at 0930 for non-pre-qualified skippers.)  Additional Check-in for pre-qualified sailors will be on Tuesday, August 5th from 0800-0930.

Boat Storage
Boats and trailers can be stored at your own risk only in designated areas. We recommend that you bring your own dollies.

Parking
Parking will be limited. Boat trailers must be parked in designated areas.

Trash
Please keep Mission Bay Yacht Club and the surrounding areas clean. Please find a trash can for all rubbish.

Camping
There is no camping at MBYC. The clubhouse and the yard will be closed and locked one half hour after activities have concluded.

Door Prize Raffles
Door prize raffles will be held after racing on Thursday, following the Annual General Meeting.  2008 INSA Junior Members are eligible to win door prizes but must be present to win.
