Q. What are the Sailing Office hours?
A.
M-F 9am - 5pm. During regattas, the Sailing Office staff is usually on the water and will check in with the office before and after racing. When the office is closed, please check our Notice Board and Website for information. The best way to contact us is always via email, which is checked even when we're away from the office.

Q. How can I find information on your events?
A. Information on upcoming events can be found on the right side of our home page. You may also check our Racing Calendar or our Event List.

Q. How do I register for an event?
A. We suggest you try our online registration, which is available for most events. Entry Forms are available on our website and in the Sailing Office. Check our home page for upcoming regatta information.

Q. Our fleet wants to run a regatta at your club. Who do we contact?
A. The contacts for Racing Events are Jeff Johnson and Jared Wohlgemuth in the Sailing Office. The contact for Social Events is Caprice van den Bergh in the Catering Office: (619) 758-6312.

Q. I'm sailing in a regatta. Can I get a slip for my boat?
A.
Slips are available on a first come first serve basis. The number of available slips varies daily due to the fact that we have no permanent guest slips, only members' slips which are vacant from time to time. Please contact our Dockmaster, Tony Reese before each event for docking availability and information.

Q. Can I crew on a boat in one of your regattas?
A. We do not have a formal crew matching system per regatta, however we do maintain a general "wants to crew" list on our our website. Please find the "crew" links on the left panel of the Race Info home page.

Q. How can I sign up for Race Committee?
A. It's easy! Using the Race Committee links on the left panel, you can find general information, volunteer schedules, and a sign-up form.

Q. Can I get on a Spectator Boat or Photo Boat?
A. We only offer spectator boats for our largest regattas and availability varies across events. The sooner you contact the Sailing Office, the better we will be able to accomidate you. For our smaller events, the best view is from the Race Committee boat and we're always accepting new volunteers.

Q. Do you offer Sailing Lessons?
A. We do NOT offer lessons for adults over the age of 18. We recommend J World for Sailing Lessons in the San Diego area. For children under the age of 18, we have a Junior Program offering all levels of sailing instruction from beginners to advanced racers.
