ABOUT THE BOAT:
Designed by Carl Schumacher and built in NZ by Davie Norris Boatbuilders as a true racer/cruiser. Launched in Christchurch, NZ May of 2001, and cruised home to San Francisco for the next 18 months by my family which included my wife (Debbie) and two sons Chris (then age 14), and Patrick (then age 12). The "delivery" included stops in New Zealand, Tonga, Fiji, French Polynesia and Hawaii! Have been actively racing the boat on the West Coast since our arrival. |
