One more time, and now in its thirty second anniversary of the Mexican Ocean Racing Circuit, MEXORC. Established as one of the most prestigious international sailing events, it will take place within the Bicentennial Festivities of Mexico as one of the most important events for the newest international trophy, the REGATA COPA MEXICO.
REGATA COPA MEXICO is a joint effort between the Mexican Government and the Mexican Sailing Associations. It is a great international perpetual event, with multi-classes that takes place every two years, throughout the coasts and ports of Mexico. The objective is to stimulate and support the sailing sports and promote the natural beauties and infrastructure of our coasts while generating the interest of tourism to our country. With these joined efforts where the right ingredients make anoutcome thatpromises to be a spectacular, successful event of quality racing, friendship, color and fiesta. MEXORC will take place from the 27th of February through the 6th of March 2010.
COPA MEXICO and MEXORC 2010 will be hosting the highest quality and best value sailing event on the West Coast this winter. We are hoping that the West Coast sailing community and our long time friends in the many Yacht Clubs will join us and help Mexico tourism. We are offering many incentives that we hope will benefit both the sailors and the communities on Banderas Bay.

- Entry Fees will be refunded – for one design fleets with a minimum 6 paid entries before 12/31/09.
- Championship class trophies for one design fleets of 7 or more boats.
- TV Coverage in the US and Mexico with ESPN and Fox Sports. Latin American coverage with Azteca and Televisa. Media coverage in all major sailing publications and sites.
- Marina Nayarit has an entrance depth of 15 feet. Moorings with shuttle boat available for bigger boats. Fuel dock and travel lift are also available in the marina.
- Discounted hotel rooms at our host hotel, Marival Resort, high security and all luxury amenities, meals and drinks for $80.USD per person. Shuttle service to and from the Marina included. The Marival is 25 minutes from the PV Airport and 25 minutes from the Marina.
