ABOUT THE BOAT:
Designed by Laurie Davidson and built by Ian Franklin, In Christchurch New Zealand, Pendragon IV is the prototype for the TP 52 class.

ABOUT THE CREW:
Our crew has been together for many years. I like to drive the start with Scotty Dickson calling tactics, Dr Kevin McMeel navightes, Tom O'Connor does main and spinnaker, Chewey Chewanski is bowman, Rick Rogers trims ibs, Alan McGlashan trims the main, Sonny Gibson and Chuck Stevens are middeck and Mike Ishino is all around everything. Everyone is able to drive the boat and step into everyone elses role if needed.

WHAT'S IN A NAME:
Legend has it King Arthur's family name is Pendragon. I told Susie I wanted to build a 52 foot wednesday night racer and she said " OK, but I get to name it!"

RANDOM:
We caught two yellowtail in the last very slow Cabo race and immediately ate them on the fantail with wasabi and ginger.
