WHAT'S IN A NAME:
Akela is the leader of the wolf pack in "The Jungle Book".  In Cub Scout packs, Akela is a symbol of wisdom, authority, and leadership. Akela is anyone who acts as a leader.

RANDOM:
Akela is now on its 5th mast and not because of anything planned. However, she will soon be known as the Stiffest Mast in the West. Hopefully this one will make it to Mexico.
