3. PAYMENT INFORMATION

PER NOR 5.2 - 5.4
The entry fee will be $4000.00, of which $2,000.00 shall be paid with the submission of entry. The balance will be due 30 days before the regatta. The entry fee will include yacht charter, use of sails, and 18 breakfast tickets, 6 tickets for the event reception on Friday November 9, 2012, and 6 tickets for the event dinner on Saturday, November 10, 2012. In addition, 14 days before the regatta, each competing team shall provide a damage deposit, in the amount of $1,000.00. The unused portion of the damage deposit will be refunded 10 days after the regatta. In the event of damage to any yacht during the regatta, the responsible team will replenish its damage deposit before continuing the regatta.

UPON ENTRY, PLEASE SEND A CHECK PAYABLE TO SDYC FOR EITHER THE $2,000 ENTRY DEPOSIT OR THE FULL $4,000 ENTRY FEE.

Please enter my yacht in the above regatta

In consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I hereby agree to the following conditions:

1. My yacht will be equipped to conform with all USCG requirements and those of the ISAF or any fleet in which I shall compete.
2. My yacht may be inspected before or after any race.
3. I agree with the Club and all other contestants to comply with all rules and/or sailing instructions governing the race(s).
4. I hereby release the Club, its officers, agents and committeemen from any and all liability for any injury to myself, crew or yacht arising out of their conduct of this race/series.
5. I assume any risk of injury arising out of my participation in the race(s), failure or breakage of my yacht or any of my equipment or weather conditions.
6. I agree not to sail in hazardous conflict with Naval vessels or commercial shipping.
7. The Safety of a yacht and her crew is the sole and inescapable responsibility of the owner, or owner's representative who must do his best to ensure that the yacht is fully found, thoroughly seaworthy and manned by an experienced crew who are physically fit to face bad weather. He must ensure that all safety equipment is properly maintained and stowed and that the crew know where it is kept and how it is to be used.
8. Competitor's attention is drawn to RRS 4 - Decision To Race:
The responsibility for a yacht’s decision to participate in a race or to continue racing is hers alone.
