FAVORITE DESTINATION:
Catalina Island has to be our favorite destination for two reason: just to get away, relax and enjoy the island and to share the experience with children (6) and grandchildren (13).
FAVORITE BOATING EXPERIENCE: Our favorite boating experience has to be joining friends and cruising the gold coast of Mexico. I think this experience instilled the desire to duplicate the adventure in our own boat!
ABOUT THE CREW: Denis and Carol Crawford will be joining us on this magnificent adventure. Both of us have recently retired and look forward to this change of lifestyle! Denis and Carol have spent many vacations with us and share our love of Mexico.
WHAT'S IN A NAME: "DAUNTLESS"
"Dauntless" was a name chosen by a former boat partner.
REASON FOR PURCHASING THIS BOAT:
Being a previous Grand Banks owner the decision was easy.
PREVIOUS BOATS OWNED:
Previously we owned a Grand Banks 32. Owning this boat for over 10 years was the perfect introduction to the fun of boating. Prior to this we owned a Lido 14.
INTEREST IN THE FUBAR ODYSSEY:
Since this is our first extended cruise, what a perfect way to begin. The camaraderie, meeting new people and the safety of a group all have great appeal! We can not wait to be with like minded people!
BOATING STORY:
Funny brings to mind the Halloween we rafted with several boats for a preplanned costume party at the Isthmus of Catalina Island. Many laughs!
