BOAT NAME: Coconut
BOAT TYPE:
Grand Banks Aluetian
SKIPPERS: Gary & Pat Beyshcau
EXPERIENCE: 29 Years
BUILT:
2003
PURCHASED: 2007

FAVORITE DESTINATION:
Hard to beat the Catalina Island experience. Clear waters, unique environment, lots of new neighbors to meet! Great crusing!

FAVORITE BOATING EXPERIENCE:
The anticapation of a new destination, how exciting is that? The planning, preparing, navigating, and the journey. And you get to take friends with you!

ABOUT THE CREW:
Gary, skipper, has to be in charge! Navigates anything that floats, flys or drives. Pat, first mate, good looking and what a great cook too! Rob and Julia, best friends and deck hands anywhere! Even if they are sailboaters. They live on the bay in SF with their boat in the backyard!

WHAT'S IN A NAME: "COCONUT"
Coconut is actally, Coconut2, but envokes visions of palm trees and tropical places! Isn't that what this is all about?

REASON FOR PURCHASING THIS BOAT:
Lots of research for a balance of comfort, entertaining, security, and durability for extended crusing.

PREVIOUS BOATS OWNED:
Hobies to cruisers, ski boats to kayaks, too many but always looking for the next one.

INTEREST IN THE FUBAR ODYSSEY:
Most important is meeting new boaters. After reading an article from the 2007 FUBAR and one of participants stated it was the best experiance of his life, we desided we wanted to have that experiance. We always learn something on a trip, I'm certain this will be one to remember!
