WHAT'S IN A NAME: "BURNTSAND"
Burntsand was "coined" by a senior Silicon Valley executive who was giving a speech that quoted "silicon chips are just burnt sand anyway!"
REASON FOR PURCHASING THIS BOAT:
Its capability to go anywhere. As novice skippers we wanted a safe seaworthy boat that would take us wherever we wanted to go. So far we have travelled between Zihuatenajo and Juneau.

The people we plan to meet along with visiting a number of stops on the Baja that we have just cruised by in the past.
