The Cruising Fleet is a vigorous and convivial constituency of the San Diego Yacht Club composed of yachtsmen who enjoy cruising Southern California waters in company with fellow Members. The Fleet organizes and conducts a number of cruises of varying distances ranging from Ensenada in the south, northward to Santa Barbara including the Channel Islands and Catalina. Several Cruises of two or three day’s duration are scheduled to San Diego Harbor, Mission Bay, and Oceanside during the year. Annually, a traditional weeklong Summer Cruise to Catalina is in early September, which may extend a few more days to Santa Barbara with visits to yacht clubs along the way. Ensenada, Mexico is also an annual destination.

Cruising Fleet members participate as well in an active social schedule ashore, demonstrated most prominently by well-attended monthly Dinners featuring cruising-related programs.

All SDYC Members are cordially invited to join the Cruising Fleet to share in the companionship of this friendly group, dedicated to adventures on the water.
