MEMBERSHIP in the San Diego Yacht Club is generally available to those who have a demonstrated interest in participating in and promoting the development of yachting in all its aspects, including, without limitation, cruising, angling and racing.
The Membership Committee and the Board will require substantial proof from all new membership applicants that they either have proven past yachting experience and intend to continue that experience or can demonstrate that they intend to participate actively in yachting activities of the Club.
Listed below are the basic requirements for application of membership in the San Diego Yacht Club:
Upon receipt of the application it is logged in and processed according to the date of receipt. The Membership Committee will thoroughly investigate all applicants and recommend approval or denial of membership to the Board of Directors who makes final determination of acceptance or denial.
It is important that each applicant notify his or her references that they will receive a questionnaire and request that their responses be timely. In the event that all questionnaires are not submitted by the due date the application will be tabled until such time as it is complete.
Contact Danielle Carreon at (619) 758-6303 for further information.
