PLEASE NOTE: THE FOLLOWING ASSUMES COUNTY AND CLUB COVID REGULATIONS PERMIT THE EVENT TO PROCEED AS PLANNED. ANY CHANGES WILL BE COMMUNICATED.

The weekend of June 18-20 is our annual Staycation at the guest dock in front of the SDYC clubhouse.  It’s a fun way to celebrate the start of summer!  The Staycation includes a potluck and BYOB party on the dock, med-moor at the SDYC guest dock, and barbeque in the Club Sail Wash or Pavilion areas.

Friday Activities

• The Potluck/BYOB party on the dock will begin at 5pm with live music entertainment. All Cruising Fleet members are invited to attend the Potluck and encouraged to bring a potentially new Cruising Fleet member as their guest.  Each Cruising Fleet member should bring an appetizer to share and whatever you want to drink.  Tables and paper goods will be provided by the Cruising Fleet.
   
• For those that want to med-moor at the club, this event is always fully booked due to the limited dock space, therefore advanced reservations are required. It’s a great opportunity for boats not at SDYC slips to enjoy the club. First priority for the dock space will be given to Fleet members who do not have a slip at the club.  Space assignments will be assigned on Monday May 31, based on a first come basis; first selected from a lottery, with priority given to those who do not have a slip at SDYC.
  
  Med mooring will begin at 12:00 noon.  We do not know the exact number of boats that will be assigned a spot as this is contingent on the beams of the boats that register, but we anticipate that about 10-12 boats should be able to med moor at the guest dock. You will be notified if you have been selected or put on a wait list depending on the above criteria.

Saturday Activities

• Enjoy your boat and club. 
• The annual barbeque will be held in the club Sail Wash Lawn or Pavilion starting at 5 p.m. Saturday evening (note that separate reservations are required for the BBQ).

Sunday Activities

• The Club restaurant will be open for breakfast 7:30-10:30 am and Sunday brunch starting at 11:30 am.
• Med moor will begin breaking up around 1:30 pm. on Sunday.
