Start the New Year out right! Join us for the annual La Playa Cruise. Bring your boat to La Playa on Friday and spend the weekend rafted up with friends. It’s a weekend with few scheduled events and the opportunity to have an up-close view of the Club Championships regatta Friday, Saturday and Sunday in La Playa. For those not able to get one of the limited number of permits, rest assured that we’ll have you covered - but you must Register here before Jan. 15th to get a special permit arranged.
On Saturday morning we will be holding the Anchoring & Rafting Workshop that has great information and sharing of experiences. It will also include an optional “Hands On” anchoring exercise aboard the motor yacht “Keet”, courtesy of Carol & Jerry Keigher. (NOTE: The Workshop has a separate registration - Click Here)
Saturday evening we will be together at SDYC to enjoy dinner, meeting there at 5:30 PM (registration required).
For those not bringing a boat, you're welcome to come out to the raftup or attend the social events.
Early Raft - Beginning at 9am, we will be surveying the anchorage to establish the anchorage location
10:00 – 4:00 pm – Arrive at raft-up. Please contact Lance Murphy or Dan Friedman on Ch. 78 as you depart your slip or approach the raft. Please be observant of the Racing, Committee Boat and Course Markers
Confirm with cruise captain so we know what time you plan to depart on Sunday, this may affect how you tie up and your anchoring position

Noon- 4:00 pm – Club Championships racing
5:00 – 6:00 pm – Wine & cheese on Host Boats – Hosts to be determined
Dinner - On your own. People may want to form groups to dine at SDYC or SWYC
