Registration Reservation Cancel/Change Form Cruising Fleet Home

Your Cruising Fleet will be starting of the 2024 Cruising season with a short trip to La Playa Cove.  We will be having a raft up (weather permitting).  If you want to join the raft up or just anchor in La Playa Cove on your own, you will need to get a permit from the Port Authority at http://reservations.portofsandiego.org/boating/index.asp.  If you plan participate by boat, We encourage you to obtain your anchor permit sooner rather than later to make sure you get a spot.

Deadline to register for the Saturday night dinner at SDYC is January 9th to provide a head count to the kitchen.

SCHEDULE:

Friday, January 12^th:

• 1:00 to 3:00 PM: Raft Up, weather permitting (VHF 78)
• 4:00 PM: Cocktails and socializing on a boat to be determined.(BYOB)
• Dinner on your own

Saturday, January 13^th:

• 11:00 to 3:00 PM: Lunch on your own
• Dinghy poker run. Prizes for the top 3 hands. (Details and map will be provided)
• 4:00-6:00 PM: Live music and socializing on the deck outside the Spinnaker Room, SDYC.  Music courtesy the band, The Taquitos
• 6:00 to 8:00 PM: Dinner in the Spinnaker Room or on the deck outside the room.  Italian buffet. Price per person is $40.00. If you register for the dinner, your SDYC account will be charged. Registration deadline is January 5^th for the dinner. No cancellations for dinner after that date.

Italian Buffet Saturday Night

• Roasted Tuscan Vegetables
• Garlic Bread
• Chicken Parmesan
• Baked Ziti
• Tiramisu
• Coffee Station

The Taquitos are a trio of musicians based in north San Diego County. The Taquitos bring vocal harmonies and new energy to 60’s/70’s rock cover.  Band member, Bruce Gresham is an SDYC Cruising Fleet member.

Sunday, January 14^th:

• 10:30 AM: Break up the raft and boats return to home ports.
