Commodore Brian Thomas is famously known for the BT Sabots he built when he was a teenager and young man that are still competitively raced today and for the iconic bronze Sabot sculpture he built that sits at the entry to our Club as well as his business Thomas Marine. But did you know that he started racing Sabots when he was 6 years old and won 5 consecutive Sabot Nationals, the OK Dinghy National and the North American Championships back to back, the PC Nationals and the Etchells Master World Championship in San Francisco. Sailing and boats have been the fabric of his life. Brian is looking forward to taking the Helm as Commodore. Come hear him talk and share his plans for 2020.
