Neal and Ruthie's talk will share the drama, the danger and the fun of one of the most remote places in the world including a breath-taking collection of photographs.

Now is your chance to hear a first-hand account of what it's like to sail a small boat around the legendary Cape Horn - The End of the World - and what their life aboard was like for eight weeks of cruising in the remote fjords of Patagonia.

When Neal and Ruthie Schneider received the invitation to join their good friends, Mark and Rosie aboard their Fraser 41, Merkava, to sail around Cape Horn and cruise Patagonia, they gave it serious consideration - for about two seconds! Neal pounded back a reply email almost before he had completely read the invitation, accepting as graciously as he could, his excitement overflowing.

Neal and Ruthie have been San Diego Yacht Club members since 1997 and have recently completed an eight-and-a-half year circumnavigation aboard their 48' ketch, Rutea, where they visited thirty-eight countries and traveled over 49,000 miles. Read about their adventures at www.rutea.com.
