Anchoring Tips & Tricks Presentation

Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 10:00am - 1:00pm
Training Resources Maritime Institute

Ever dragged your anchor?

Ever dragged someone's anchor with your anchor?!

Ever gone to bed in one place and woken up in another?!!

Join us on Saturday, January 30 at 10am for some tips and tricks on anchoring.

We'll meet in the parking lot at Training Resources Maritime Institute at 3980 Sherman Street where Dave Abrams will provide us with all we need to know to safely deploy our anchors and sleep soundly. Please see Dave' bio below.

Then about 11am, we'll proceed to La Playa where Dave, Dan Friedman and Lance Murphy will, from their dinghies, coach us as we practice anchoring our boats.

Dave, Dan and Lance have lots of experience anchoring their own boats.

The parking lot at TRMI is quite large and will provide us with a COVID friendly environment. We will NOT be rafting up as we practice anchoring in La Playa.

Please register for the event below.
